Employee financial wellness for Utah businesses

Less money stress. More value from the benefits you already offer.

Workplace Financial Counseling brings financial education workshops and confidential one-on-one counseling to small and mid-sized employers, so your team can make confident, practical money decisions.

For employers

Money stress doesn't stay at home

When employees are worried about money, it shows up at work as distraction, missed days, and turnover. Many also leave real value on the table because no one has ever explained their 401(k) match, HSA, or insurance options in plain language.

We give your team a trusted, independent place to learn and ask questions, without adding work for your HR staff.

  • A simple benefit to offer. Choose a single workshop, a quarterly series, or a series plus one-on-one counseling hours.
  • Better use of your benefits. Employees learn how the benefits you already pay for actually work.
  • Independent and conflict-free. We aren't affiliated with your 401(k) provider or insurance broker, and we never sell products.
  • Privacy you can promise. You receive aggregate participation information only, never individual details.

For employees

A judgment-free place to talk about money

Wherever you're starting from, you'll get clear explanations, practical next steps, and someone who understands that money decisions are about more than numbers.

What you share in a one-on-one session stays between you and your counselor. Your employer is never told what you discussed.

  • Build a spending plan that fits your real life
  • Make a plan for paying down debt and improving your credit
  • Start or grow an emergency fund
  • Understand your 401(k), HSA, and insurance choices
  • Navigate money conversations with a partner or family
  • Feel less overwhelmed and more in control

Our approach

Practical, behavioral, and confidential

Knowing what to do with money is only part of the challenge. Our counseling draws on behavioral and financial therapy training to help people work through the habits, emotions, and conversations behind their money decisions, not just the numbers.

Confidentiality

Individual conversations are private. Employers receive only aggregate information, such as how many people attended or booked sessions and the general topics that came up.

What we do and don't do

Our services are educational. We don't sell products, earn commissions, manage money, or negotiate with creditors, and we don't recommend specific investments, insurance policies, or tax strategies. When someone needs individualized advice, we refer them to an appropriately licensed professional.

FAQ

Common questions

How does pricing work?

Pricing depends on your team size and the services you choose. Options include a single workshop, a quarterly series, or an ongoing package with one-on-one counseling. Reach out and we'll put together a proposal.

Will I find out what my employees discuss?

No. Individual sessions are confidential. Employers receive only aggregate participation information and general themes, never names or personal details.

Do you sell investments or insurance?

No. We don't sell any financial products or earn commissions. That independence lets employees trust that the information they receive is unbiased.

Can you tell me which investments to choose?

Our services are educational, so we don't recommend specific investments, insurance policies, or tax strategies. We'll help you understand your options and how to evaluate them, and refer you to a licensed professional if you want individualized advice.

Are workshops in person or virtual?

Either. We present on site throughout the Salt Lake Valley and offer virtual workshops and sessions for remote or distributed teams.
